ORDERING

We ask that you use our SBS part numbers when placing orders.This helps us serve you more efficiently and accurately by allowing us to inform you of the availability of items as you place your order. If you need rush shipping service,please notify your sales representative before you place your order.

MINIMUM ORDER: $25.00

EMAIL/FAX ORDERING

Orders should include your Shop name, Account number, SBS part numbers and quantities, your fax number, and the name of the person placing the order. Please include the name of your SBS sales representative at the top of your order as well.

PRICING

All prices, terms, and policies are subject to change without notice. However, if you place an order by SBS part number, we can quote you the current price on each item at the time of ordering. SBS is not responsible for typographi- cal errors or photo errors.

RECEIPT OF GOODS

All claims for the loss or damage of merchan- dise must be made by the customer DIRECTLY against the CARRIER. Once the freight forwarder has picked up and is in receipt of the merchandise, liability for same becomes their responsibility. We, therefore, will NOT accept payment deductions or give credit in these instances.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY*

C.O.D.orders: Shipping and handling prepaid qualifications are $500** or more shippable parts or $1500 bicycles/parts combined. Does not apply to C.O.D.fees. Direct shipping points only in the Continental USA. Open Account Orders: Qualifications for full shipping and handling allowance are $500** or more in shippable parts or $1500 bicycles/parts combined. To take advantage of this offer, payment must be received within our terms and accompanied by a copy of your paid freight bill. Direct truck-shipping points only in the Conti- nental USA. Freight allowed shipments are F.O.B. our warehouse.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS

Visa or Mastercard may be used when placing an order. SBS does require minimum order of $100.00 on all credit card purchases. For your protection, credit card information must be provided with each order.

NEW ACCOUNTS

  • SBS requires a completed business application on all customers before an order is shipped.
  • All orders will be shipped C.O.D. certified funds or Pre-paid with Bankcard until C.O.D. check or Open account terms have been extended.
  • Standard Open account terms are Net 30 and are due in full, 30 days from invoice date.
  • Past due accounts are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month on the past due balance.

ORDER AND SHIPPING ERRORS

Notify us of any mistakes on your order within 5 days of receipt of the goods. We need to hear about problems within this time frame in order to serve you better and to maintain accurate inventory for all of our customers. No adjust- ments will be allowed beyond this time period.

  • If you received the wrong part number than what is stated on your packslip, please finish checking in your entire order before calling SBS. Inspect packing materials carefully for smaller items.
  • Let us know which SBS part number(s) were not received. In some cases it may mean we shipped you something else instead. We will find the simplest and fastest way to resolve the problem.
  • If you gave us the wrong part number or your customer has changed their mind, contact us with your invoice number & SBS part number.
  • SBS will issue a RA (return authorization) number. Return the product via your preferred traceable carrier only (UPS, truck, Registered Parcel Post). Product must be in original packaging and in original condition. Please do not use display boxes as shipping cartons.
  • Credit will be posted to your account upon receipt of goods in resaleable condition. A restocking charge of 15% may be deducted from your credit for items returned.

RETURNED CHECKS

Checks returned for any reason will be charged a $20.00 service charge and your account will be placed on hold status until the returned check has been paid in full.

REFUSED ORDERS

Any refused order is subject to a 20% restocking fee and all applicable shipping costs.

RETURNS AND CREDITS

Contact SBS with your invoice number, reason for return,and SBS part number(s). We cannot accept returned items that are older than 6 months or discontinued.SBS will assign an RA (return authorization) number. Put the RA number on the outside of the package and enclose a note to SBS including your RA number and reason for the return. Please pack return in a UPS shippable carton.Make sure the item in new condition and in original packaging. A 15% restocking charge may be deducted from your credit for items returned.

DEFECTS AND WARRANTIES

Contact SBS with your specific SBS part number, invoice number, and specific defect for a return authorization. If item is within it's warranty period, SBS will assign a RA number for the return. Write the RA number on the outside of the box and return the defective product with a brief description of the defect included inside the box. We will credit your account upon verification of the defect.

EXCEPTIONS:

The items below have unique warranty restrictions and CANNOT be returned; Cranks: Bent or stripped crank arms Forks: Forks broken at the threads and/or bent forks Media: Videos cannot be returned if opened Saddles: Bent or broken rails or torn covers Seatposts: Bent seatposts Tools: Used cutting tools Defective product must be returned to SBS Kent, WA location.
